Recently renovated with full new bath/shower in bathroom #1 & new shower in bathroom #2 + a very private outdoor shower in the shade. This vintage cottage has been updated with new paint, fixtures, beds, bedding (along with blackout curtains for a good nights sleep!) , lovely screeened in porch with 180 degree view of the water, outside deck, boat slip, swimming dock, boat launch less than 1 mile down the road, play golf at Lake Winds Golf Course within 5 miles, close to Wind Creek State Park, Chimney Rock, The Ridge, rent a boat at River North Marina, beautiful sunsets, fun-filled days with water activities and lots of room for playing on land as well as parking space. The best view on the lake - water everywhere!!!! Lot is flat with easy access to house and water. Enjoy grilling out and relaxing -- beautiful open waters, fishing, boating, swimming, skiing, wakeboarding - fun family place. Short 30 minute drive to Auburn for football games one way; Spring House Restaurant, Catherine's Market, and Kowaliga the other way. Or just stay where you are and enjoy the sunset, watch the game on TV, grill out some steaks/fish/chicken and relax in the beautiful waters of Lake Martin.

Summary: The online list was accurate in sleeps 10, but keep in mind these are 10 single beds in three bedrooms. Although it sleeps10, the rest of the house is quite small. It is completely adequate for a small family of four or five, but to have a family if 10 would be extremely cramped. a large family of10 stay

Summary: Lake Martin has been our family vacation every year for the past 7 years. We have always stayed at the campground, but decided this year to get a house. And it did not disappoint! Other than a few storms that blew through, everything was perfect. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave. Cathy was a great host! We will most definitely be booking again!

Summary: Overall I would rate our stay a 10/10. We enjoyed everything about the house and the location. We did not have any issues our entire stay. The house is very cozy and has a great porch! Also, the boat launch is just down the road and it is a very nice launch; not crowded at all even during the holiday weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had a wonderful experience at this obviously well-loved and curated family home. The setting is spectacular. The home is well appointed with everything we needed for a long weekend getaway that included a little commute to Auburn for parent's weekend. The house is authentic and quite comfortable. We plan to return!

Summary: My wife and I loved our stay! The house was very clean and cozy. From the soft sheets and comfortable beds, to the screened in porch, covered patio with grill and fans, and pier with a covered boat dock. We we will definitely be back!
